How You Can Help

We hope you will become a supporter of MEF’s work! Contact us if you want to talk about MEF projects, send us a donation, let us know what we can do better. We appreciate ideas, comments, donations, pledges. We have board members who are willing to give talks or do readings for your organization or group. We can help organize events, arrange for you to meet with students or project leaders in Guatemala, Mexico or Belize.

1) Make a contribution to MEF. All donations, large or small, help Maya groups in various ways, especially women and children.

2) Sponsor one or more university student in Chiapas, or Guatemala at US$150/month.

3) Consider a gift to MEF for another, or in memory of another person, or through a bequest. A wedding, graduation, or holiday gift can make an important difference in the life of a young Maya student.

4) Spread the word, post MEF brochures & newsletters, invite MEF for talks or fundraising events, contact us with your ideas. Share your mailing list with us if you have interested constituents.

The Maya Educational Foundation is a public charity under IRS code 501 (c)(3). Its Federal Tax ID# is 03-0335159. Your donations are tax-deductible to the extent of the law.
